The headline plan price is rarely what a localization budget actually turns into. The unit of measurement is.
How their model scales
Crowdin meters hosted words, and their own definition is words multiplied by target languages. The same source content therefore costs twice as much against your plan limit when you go from 5 locales to 10, even though your product did not change. Adding markets is exactly when a localization tool should get cheaper per market, not more expensive.
