Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Remote (Worldwide) · full-time · $120K–$180K
You'll work across the entire stack — from the React dashboard and TanStack-based landing site to Cloudflare Workers that serve 370K+ translations at the edge. This isn't a CRUD app. You'll build LLM translation pipelines, real-time sync engines, CDN architecture, and MCP server integrations that AI agents use natively. We ship fast, break things intentionally, and fix them before users notice.
What you'll do
- Design and implement features across the full stack: React 19 frontend, Hono API, Cloudflare Workers
- Build and optimize the CDN pipeline — R2 storage, Cache API, edge delivery, purge flows
- Work on AI/LLM integration — translation quality scoring, context-aware translation, RAG embeddings
- Contribute to open source SDKs (@better-i18n/next, @better-i18n/react, @better-i18n/expo)
- Improve developer experience — CLI tools, MCP server, GitHub integration
- Own your features end-to-end: design, implement, test, deploy, monitor
You may be a fit if
- 4+ years of production TypeScript/JavaScript experience
- Strong React skills — you understand rendering, state management, and performance at depth
- Experience with edge computing, serverless, or Cloudflare Workers
- Comfortable with databases — SQL (PlanetScale/MySQL), ORMs (Drizzle), and caching strategies
- You ship independently — no one tells you what to build each sprint
Nice to have
- Experience with TanStack Router/Start, Hono, or Vite
- Background in building developer tools, SDKs, or CLI applications
- Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude) and embedding/RAG systems
- Open source contributions
