Account Executive — Developer Tools
Remote · full-time · $80K–$150K
You'll own the full sales cycle — from outbound to close — for a product that developers actually want to use. Our buyers are engineering leads and CTOs who are tired of clunky translation management. You'll need to understand their pain (broken i18n workflows, slow releases, expensive human translation) and show them how Better i18n fixes it. This is not enterprise SaaS theater — deals are $5K–$50K ACV, cycles are short, and the product sells itself once you get the right person on a demo.
What you'll do
- Run the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → demo → negotiation → close
- Build outbound pipeline targeting dev tool leads, CTOs, and VP Engineering at scaling companies
- Conduct technical product demos that resonate with engineering audiences
- Collaborate with product on roadmap priorities based on prospect feedback
- Develop repeatable sales playbooks as the first dedicated sales hire
- Partner with growth marketing on inbound lead qualification and nurturing
You may be a fit if
- 2+ years closing B2B SaaS deals, preferably selling to technical buyers
- You can hold a conversation about APIs, SDKs, and developer workflows without faking it
- Track record of building pipeline from scratch — not just inheriting inbound
- Comfortable with short sales cycles and high-velocity deal flow
- Self-directed — you'll be the first sales hire, there's no playbook yet
Nice to have
- Experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, or DevOps products
- Technical background (CS degree, previous engineering role, or side projects)
- Familiarity with the localization/translation management space
